US drug manufacturer Pfizer has extended the deadline for bids for its Adams confectionery unit in order to raise more interest in the sale.
The deadline for first-round bids for the maker of Trident and Dentyne gum is thought to have been extended into November, reported the Financial Mail on Sunday.
