Danish Crown chairman Erik Bredholt said: “Thomas has a strong track record with great results in both finance and change management. At the same time, he has broad international experience, and he is a leader with strong communication skills.”
Ahle’s career includes periods in the food industry, including a stint as CFO for the then Cadbury’s operations in northern Europe. After Cadbury’s sale to the then Kraft Foods, he worked for Sweden-based baker Lantmannen Unibake for four years, including in the role of group CFO. Since 2014, Ahle has worked for Refresco.
Ahle will be joining a reshaped Danish Crown, which this summer agreed to sell UK business Tulip to US poultry supplier Pilgrim’s Pride.
