Horeca, a subsidiary of UK foodservice business Bidfood, has signed an exclusive deal with Fonterra that will see it distribute the company’s dairy products to foodservice channels.
Fonterra, which confirmed the deal to just-food, will service the deal through its own foodservice brand Anchor Food Professionals.
Products under its umbrella include Anchor Extra Whip Whipping Cream, Anchor Unsalted Bulk Butter and Anchor Soft Style Cream Cheese.
Wael Al Jamil, chief commercial officer, Bidfood Middle East, told local media outlets: “We are delighted to be appointed as an authorised distributor of Fonterra, which is known for its high-quality dairy products.”
“We take pride in collaborating with big names in the F&B industry, who demonstrate commitment to high standards for our clients, and complement our strategy to offer wider choices of quality products to growing F&B consumer base in the UAE.”
