Swiss food giant Nestlé is to close its Berlin Templelhof chocolate plant by the end of next year due to a fall in demand for its “Yes” chocolate products in Germany.

The company is to hold talks with worker representatives concerning the future of the plant’s 460 employees. Some of the plant’s production is to be moved to Hamburg meaning there is a possibility of some jobs being transferred, reported Reuters.
