In this position, Ratcliffe will report to Roger Deromedi, co-CEO Kraft Foods Inc. and President and CEO, Kraft Foods International.

“As part of our strategy to better align our sales organisation with those of our customers, we have created this new position within my senior executive team,” said Deromedi. “Today’s sales environment provides increasing opportunities given the growing internationalisation and consolidation of our global customers. David’s leadership of our European Sales organisation and their key accounts, coupled with his cross-company experience in the Worldwide Sales Council, positions him perfectly for this new role.”

Ratcliffe joined Kraft in 1988 as sales director, United Kingdom, and has held a number of senior sales and general management positions including commercial director (UK); area director (Iberia) and vice president Away-From-Home Europe. Ratcliffe will continue to be based in London, with responsibility for International Customers and KFI Sales Strategy and will work closely with KFI’s four regional sales organisations.
