Canadian convenience store operator Alimentation Couche-Tard has acquired Tabatout, a Quebec network of 30 stores in shopping centres and office buildings.

Couche-Tard, which operates 2,266 stores across Canada and in the US Midwest, is reported to be paying C$2.5m (US$1.6m) for Tabatout. Tabatout has annual sales of around C$15m, reported the National Post.
