The plant is not efficient, Coberco said. Production will be moved to other facilities in Leeuwarden, Drachten, and to Bornem in Belgium. The move will result in 45 redundancies.
The plant in Dinkelland was profitable in 2001, but Friesland Coberco intends to move production to increase production efficiency.
