A notable automobile manufacturer has assigned AGO AG Energie + Anlagen with the erection of a cooling plant with a total cooling capacity of 7.5 MW.

The order for construction of the building and cooling plant amounts to around €11m. The project will be carried out in corporation between AGO AG Energie + Anlagen and a well-known construction company, which will be responsible for the building construction. The project is expected to be completed by October 2018.

The turnkey cooling plant consists of 3 x 2.5 MW turbo core chillers with re-cooling units and piping, medium and low-voltage systems including transformers and instrumentation. The chillers will provide cooling energy with a temperature of 8/16°C for the factory.

CEO Günther Hein says: "We’re pleased to have been awarded yet another major order in the field of decentralised energy supply. This is a clear success on the road of our diversification strategy setting a positive signal for the next fiscal year. We consider this a great opportunity to dynamically expand our business unit ‘plant engineering’ and are already negotiating further orders of this kind."
