Why You Should Choose Eilersen’s Digital Load Cells

By GlobalData
1. Sturdy Load Cells for Tough Industrial Applications Eilersen's digital load cells use a capacitive measurement principle, which involves the mounting of a ceramic sensor inside the load cell body. As the load cells contain no moving parts and the ceramic sensor is not in contact with the load cell body, it tolerates very high overloads, sideloads, and torsion (up to 1000% of rated load cell capacity). Eilersen's cells are produced in stainless steel and hermetically sealed (IP68/IP69K) by laser welding to ensure waterproof protection for tough industrial applications. They are available in capacities up to 500t. 2. Simple Mechanical Installation Mechanical protection devices are not necessary when installing Eilersen digital load cells as the capacitive measuring principle allows for very high overloads, sideloads, and torsion. This is important to save costs and maintenance. Download to find out more
