Germany’s food industry registered a 3.0% drop in IT hiring activity in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 22.8% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.58% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 0.34% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s food industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s food industry in October 2022.
1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 40% in October 2022, registering a 55.56% growth over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 40% share, a decrease of 39.13% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 11.43%, registering a 60% decline from September 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 5.71%, down 60% over the previous month.
Top five food companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 27.91% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s food industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
HelloFresh posted 11 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 83.33% over the previous month, followed by Ferrero Group with 8 jobs and a flat growth. maxingvest with 6 IT jobs and Nestle with 4 jobs, recorded a 25% decline and an 80.95% decrease, respectively, while Dr. August Oetker recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.14%, down by 41.18% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.43% share, registered an increase of 57.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.43% share, down 33.33% over September 2022.
