The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 18.17% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.35% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.46% over the last three-month average share.

Top five food companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 65% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s food industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

General Mills posted 14 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 250% over the previous month, followed by Nestle with 8 jobs and a 700% growth. Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 8 IT jobs and Puratos with 2 jobs, recorded a 38.46% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Kraft Heinz recorded a decline of 50% with 1 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.82%, down by 78.02% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 35.29% share, registered an increase of 9.09% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.88% share, up 100% over October 2022.
