The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 20.33% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 2.46% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.35% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nestle IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nestle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 43.93% in May 2022, and a 49.46% drop over April 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 30.84% in May 2022, and registered a decline of 58.23%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 14.02% in May 2022, a 65.91% drop from April 2022.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 47.66% share, which marked a 43.33% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 27.1%, registering a 69.47% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 24.3% share and a 51.85% drop over April 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.93% and a month-on-month decline of 80%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 43.93% share in May 2022, a 42.68% decline over April 2022. India featured next with a 20.56% share, down 51.11% over the previous month. Switzerland recorded a 14.02% share, a decline of 61.54% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Nestle IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.9%, down by 56.18% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.82% share, a decline of 58.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.28% share, down 52.17% over April 2022.
