Alouette is launching two "wholesome" and "indulgent" snack lines: Le Bon Dip and Le Petite Fromage.

"With the move away from processed and over-engineered foods, the demand for wholesome yet indulgent snacks has never been greater," the company said as it announced the move.

Alouette's Le Bon Dip features soft cheese combined with "chunky vegetables" and Greek yoghurt. It is free from artificial colours and flavours and contains 45 calories per serving. With an RRP of US$4.29 it is available in four flavours: basil, zucchini & parmesan; fire roasted vegetable; zesty garden salsa; and roasted red pepper & chickpea.

Le Petite Fromage is free from additives, preservatives, artificial colours and flavours. It combines cheese with yoghurt, vegetables and spices and contains 40 calories per individually packed serving. With an RRP of $3.99 it is available in four varieties: garlic & herb; garden salsa; parmesan & basil; and cucumber & dill.

Alouette products are stocked at grocers throughout the US including Kroger, Target, Wal-Mart, ShopRite, Safeway and Albertsons.
