Arla Foods has launched a reduced sugar and low-fat yoghurt under its namesake brand in the UK.

A spokesperson for Arla UK said the company would be rolling out a four-pack yoghurt, designed to "fill a gap in the market for an everyday healthy yoghurt for the family".

The yoghurt is available in five flavours including strawberry, raspberry and vanilla. Arla claims it has 30% less sugar than "standard" yoghurts.

At present, the yoghurt is available in Morrisons and Tesco, with plans to roll it out into other UK supermarkets this summer. The yoghurt has an RRP of GBP1.69 (US$2.63).
