Cadbury is reportedly planning to axe over 300 jobs in Australia and New Zealand.

The confectionery giant is restructuring three plants in the two countries, according to local reports.

Some 145 employees at Cadbury’s plant in the New Zealand city of Dunedin face losing their jobs, according to the New Zealand Herald.

The Australian newspaper, meanwhile, said Cadbury management had told staff that 160 workers would be losing their jobs at its site in Hobart.

Cadbury announced last year that it would be restructuring its business globally and cut 15% of its workforce and close 15% of its production sites.
