The proposed management buyout of the Angas Park Fruit Company has collapsed. Several months ago the company’s owner, Chiquita Brands South Pacific (CBSP), announced its intention to sell it off. This announcement was followed swiftly by another unveiling a management buyout of the Barossa Valley-based business.

However, is has now been announced that the MBO attempt has failed. CBSP now plans to merge Angas with its Kangara Farms business, based in Renmark.
