David Crosbie, CEO of Melbourne’s drug rehabilitation centre Odyssey House and a member of Prime Minister John Howard’s national council on drugs, said that Trebor 24-7, a subsidiary of UK confectionery giant Cadbury Schweppes, was being irresponsible in marketing the lollies.
