“The consolidation will result in the loss of 32 permanent and two casual positions in NSW. In Victoria, there will be an increase of approximately 15 positions,” said managing director of McCormick Foods Australia Consumer, Graham Robertson.

The centralisation will see McCormick reduce from four sites in NSW and Victoria to only two, which will be located in Victoria. The company said that the move followed McCormick’s global strategy of enhancing supply chain efficiencies through the consolidation and rationalisation of administration, distribution and manufacture.
