Parmalat Australia has launched Vaalia My First Yoghurt, a yoghurt aimed at young children that is fortified with omega-3 DHA.

The yoghurt has been produced using Martek Biosciences’ flagship omega-3 product life’sDHA. It is being marketed as beneficial for infant brain and eye health and is available at major supermarkets nationwide.
“Vaalia My First Yoghurt with life’sDHA demonstrates the growing global awareness of the health benefits of DHA for infants and children,” said Steve Dubin, CEO of Martek Biosciences.
Parmalat Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Italy’s Parmalat SpA, is one of Australia’s largest producers of branded dairy products.
