Back to Nature Foods is reformulating its SnackWell's products to reposition the range as a "better-for-you" brand.

The company said the SnackWell's line would no be made without high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oil, artificial flavours or colours.

"Now more than ever, consumers are seeking flavourful products made with healthier ingredients, which is why since we've been under new ownership, we have been working to reinvigorate the SnackWell's brand and what we offer our customers," said Vincent Fantegrossi, CEO of Back to Nature.

The firm announced it was adding 100% whole grain chocolate chip cookie bites to its SnackWell's portfolio, as well as a chocolate mint flavour of its Devil's Food cookie cake.
