Bega Cheese, the Australia-based dairy-to-Vegemite maker, has appointed a new chief financial officer.
The company has hired Pete Findlay to the post of CFO. He started in the role on Monday (11 November).
In a stock-exchange filing, Bega described Findlay as a “commercially focused chief financial officer with over 20 years’ experience in professional services and senior finance and operational roles in private- and publicly-owned businesses”.
Bega said Findlay had “held several senior CFO roles in a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, information technology and distribution”.
just-food approached Bega for further details on Findlay’s career but had received no response at the time of writing.
Findlay takes on the reins from Colin Griffin, who had been Bega’s CFO for 26 years. Griffin has moved to a role of executive general manager of Bega’s contract-manufacturing business.
