Belgian frozen vegetable manufacturer Ardo has revealed plans to invest EUR30m (US$46.89m) in upgrading its Ardooie facilities.
“Construction has begun at our Ardooie site to improve our facilities, particularly our distribution centre,” a spokesperson for the company told just-food today (25 April).
The new distribution centre will have a 32,000-pallet storage capacity. This facility will cater for its European markets, the company said.
Building work on the distribution centre is expected to be completed by 2009.
