US almond-growing co-operative Blue Diamond Growers has launched another snacks range in the UK.
The co-op said its Krunchies crispy coated almonds are a market first that it hopes will tap into demand for snack almonds.
“Snack almonds are hugely popular in the UK and we’ve introduced a new product which combines great-tasting flavours with the all the added benefits of the healthy almond at the core of the product,” John Beadle, managing director of Blue Diamond’s European consumer brands business, said.
The Krunchies almonds are available in two flavours – salt and vinegar and spicy BBQ. They are sold in 70g packs at an RRP of GBP1.39 (US$2.11) a bag.
Existing Blue Diamond snack lines on sale in the UK include Smokehouse and Wasabi & Soy Sauce flavoured almonds.
