US agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland has announced that it is to discontinue operations indefinitely at its soybean crushing and refining operation in Tres Passos, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with immediate effect.
“The plant closure is due to poor crushing margins,” ADM said.
