BULGARIA: Nestlé Sofia invests in production line expansion
Nestlé Sofia, the Bulgarian subsidiary of Swiss food giant Nestlé, has launched a L5.0m (US$3.0m) production line for the company’s Nestlé Classic and KitKat chocolate products, the company said. The new production line, which is situated in the capital Sofia, is part of Nestlé’s planned investment of L13m in Bulgaria in 2003.

The company said the expansion would make Nestlé Sofia the company’s largest production and exports centre for Eastern Europe, reported the Bulgarian News Digest.
