Canada’s largest dairy cooperative Agropur has appointed Benoit Gagnon to the position of executive vice president for global development.
Gagnon, who joined Agropur in 1982, has held a number of positions within the company including vice president, finance and administration within the group’s Natrel division, and more recently, chief financial officer.
Gagnon will be responsible for the institutional affairs, quality assurance and research and development sectors of the company.
Agropur Cooperative has 26 plants in Canada, the US and Argentina. Earlier this year, the company acquired Quebec-based dairy Laiterie Lamothe for an undisclosed sum.
