(Montréal) As a precautionary measure, Saputo Bakery Division is voluntarily removing its Vachon Brand Hop & Go! Chocolate Granola Squares and Hop & Go! Chocolate & Peanut Granola
Squares from the marketplace.  Consumers with allergies to egg protein are advised not to consume these products.  The product labels do not list eggs in the list of ingredients.


This alert affects only those consumers who suffer from allergies to egg protein.  No allergic reactions have been reported.


Saputo Bakery Division has informed the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the latter is in agreement with the measures taken by the Company.


These products are distributed across Canada.  The products affected by this recall are:


Hop & Go! Chocolate Granola Squares, 237g size, UPC  60737 01640 and best before date up to and including JA13.
