OTTAWA – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning consumers with allergies to egg or soy proteins not to consume L’italienne Maison brand Seafood Pizza as these allergens are not declared on the label.  This alert is of concern only to those individuals who are allergic to egg or soy proteins.


The L’italienne Maison Brand 12″ Seafood Pizza is sold in a 825 g box with UPC 0 67585 50034 9. All codes up to and including 1320 are affected.


The manufacturer, Zoom Pizza , St. Romuald, Quebec is voluntarily recalling the product from the market. This product was sold in Quebec.


The consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to egg or soy proteins. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.


The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
