The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning individuals with a sensitivity to sulphites not to consume Amico brand Medium Coconut distributed by Amico Fine Foods Inc., Oakville, Ontario. This product may contain sulphites not declared on the label.

Amico Fine Foods Inc. is voluntarily recalling Amico brand Medium Coconut sold in 454 g packages with a UPC 7 74569 40007 5. The recalled product is sold in the Greater Toronto area only.
The consumption of products containing sulphites can cause serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with sensitivities to sulphites. There has been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
