The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning consumers with sensitivities to sulphites not to consume Golden Grain Super Food brand Dried Potatoes, as they may contain sulphites which are not declared on the label.
The affected product is sold in a 200g package bearing UPC 6 927585 260886.
Richmond, British Columbia-based T&T Supermarket Inc. is voluntarily recalling the product from the marketplace, where it has been distributed through T&T Supermarkets in British Columbia and Alberta.
Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with sensitivities to sulphites. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
