The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Molinaro’s Fine Italian Foods Ltd., are warning consumers with allergies to milk protein not to consume Molinaro’s Brand Ravioli with Meat, as the affected product contains milk protein that is not declared on the label.
The affected product, Molinaro’s Brand Ravioli with Meat is sold in 454g size packages. The product code 340 1 and establishment code “CANADA 290” are identified on the label. The UPC is 7 72032 24015 9.
Molinaro’s is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. It was distributed in Ontario.
Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk protein, however there have not yet been any reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
