Maurer’s Meats Ltd, Weyburn, Saskatchewan, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. These products were sold only in Saskatchewan.


Foods contaminated with C. botulinum may not look or smell spoiled. Botulism is a life-threatening illness caused by toxins produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria. Consumers should dispose of the remaining products immediately or return products to the point of purchase for a refund.
