Wholesale produce distributor Dominion Citrus has signed a letter of intent to acquire 100% of Delta Foods International, Canada’s fifth-largest maple syrup producer.
The purchase price is understood to be between C$5m and $10m (US$3.4-6.7m), reported Dow Jones News Service.
Dominion Citrus said the acquisition is subject to completion of financing, due diligence and approval by Dominion Citrus’ board.
