Canadian fresh produce company Dominion Citrus has announced that its Bo-Fruits subsidiary is to construct a 5,400 sq. ft. refrigerated extension to its existing 2,700 sq. ft. Quebec City facility.

“The expanded facility will enable Bo-Fruits to expand its territorial coverage, increase its market penetration, broaden its service offering and improve efficiencies,” said Jean Corriveau, president of Bo-Fruits.

Jacques Lavergne, president and CEO of Dominion Citrus, added: “I am delighted with the progress being made at our Bo-Fruits division. This expansion is the first step in leveraging our recent investment in Bo-Fruits and in the execution of our expansion strategy in the Province of Quebec.”
