A fifth customer of Capers Community Markets has been diagnosed with hepatitis A, reported the local media yesterday [Thursday].
Ina worrying development, health authorities are now afraid that more than one Capers employee may have had the disease, although this does not necessarily mean that a flood of new cases is imminent.
Further items have been added to the list of potentially contaminated foods. It has been extended to include muffins, huoumous or black olive tapenade consumed in early Ferbruary.
Capers is a subsidiary of Wild Oats Markets.
