Canada’s largest supermarket operator, Loblaw, has appointed John Wetmore to its board of directors.


Wetmore previously served at IBM, where he held various senior positions during his 31 years with the company. Most recently Wetmore was vice president of contact centre development, Americas. He also served as president and CEO of IBM Canada and CFO IBM’s Canadian business.


Wetmore holds a Bachelor of Mathematics, from the University of Waterloo, and is a graduate of the Advanced Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
