The company said that effective immediately, Lino Saputo, Jr., designated president and chief executive officer, will assume the interim position at the bakery division.


He will oversee the execution of the company’s previously announced investment plans, which are focused on market development and introduction of new products. 


Saputo is the largest dairy processor in Canada and one of the largest cheese manufacturers in North America.
