CANADA/USA: Canada bans Californian poultry imports after disease outbreak
Canada has banned poultry and poultry product imports from California following an outbreak of Exotic Newcastle Disease. The ban forbids the transportation of live birds or poultry products from the state and is set to last 14 days. The disease, although harmless to humans, is fatal to birds, reported the National Post.
