Cereal Partners Worldwide, the international breakfast cereal venture run by Nestle and General Mills, has launched its breakfast cereal brand Clusters in a bar format in Germany.
Available in three flavours – crispy chocolate, almond and pumpkin cream or caramel and chocolate – the bars contain a mix of oat flakes, whole grain cereals, almonds, pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate or caramel. The products contain no artificial flavours or dyes.
Aimed at young adults, the bars offer a convenient product that will leave consumers feeling fuller for longer, Cereal Partners Worldwide claimed.
“Especially in the convenience area, the cereal market is growing and is changing,” said Carmen Borsche, the CEO of Cereal Partners Worldwide’s German business, said. “This has already shown the successful introduction of the Nesquick, Cini Minis and Golden Minis brands in September 2016.”
With a transparent viewing window, the packaging enables consumers to see the product, with each pack containing four 35 gram bars. They come with an RRP of EUR1.99. (US$2.22).
