According to Yu Guangzhou, a deputy minister at China’s Ministry of Commerce, the PRC’s agricultural produce exports will exceed US$40bn in 2013.
Last year, China’s export of agricultural products were officially $21.2bn – mainly to Japan, the USA and the EU, 17.9% up over 2002.
