Coconut water brand Coco Joy has extended into other categories, including milks and oils, in the US.

The brand, owned by Middle East-based conglomerate FAL Group, said it was looking to tap into growing consumer interest in coconut as an ingredient.

"As consumers in the US and around the globe continue to recognise the health benefits of the coconut, we are proud to offer a complete coconut product line with our family of all-natural Coco Joy products," Tim Xenos, CEO of the group's FAL Food and Beverages unit, said.

The company is adding coconut milks, oils, flour, sugar and snacks to its range of beverages.
