Starbucks Coffee International, a subsidiary of US coffee giant Starbucks Coffee, has announced that it is to open its first Starbucks store in Cyprus on 15 December, together with its Greek partner, Marinopoulos Brothers.

Marinopoulos and Starbucks signed a joint venture agreement last July to open Starbucks retail locations in Nicosia and throughout the country. The joint venture, Marinopoulos Coffee Company Cyprus, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Starbucks in Cyprus.
In addition to Cyprus, Starbucks also partners with Marinopoulos Brothers in Austria, Greece and Switzerland.
