Danish food and pharmaceutical ingredients producer Aarhus Oliefabrik yesterday [Thursday] posted net turnover for its H1 2002 of DKr2.291bn (US$304m), an increase compared to the DKr2.182bn for the same period of 2001.
According to a report in Kobenhavns Fondsbors, the Danish firm saw net profit of Dkr48m for the January to June period, down from DKr58m year on year. It maintained its full year 2002 net profit forecast, however, which is between DKr125m and DKr145m.
H1 operating profit fell to DKr93m from DKr125m year on year, prompting the company to downgrade its operating profit forecast for the full year 2002 by 20m crowns, to between DKr220m and DKr240m.
