Danish food ingredients group Danisco has launched a range of fruit-based flavours for addition to milk.


Retailing under the Crazy Scoops brand, the range is designed to appeal to children. The products contain no caffeine, hydrocolloids or added fat and are intended to encourage children to drink more milk and thereby consume more calcium.


Danisco hopes its products will steal market share from less healthy options such as carbonated soft drinks. Flavours include banana, grape, berry-blend and tropical and can be mixed and matched to produce more combinations.
