The closure of the plant is part of the company’s plan to focus its production in a smaller number of plants, reported the Danish News Digest.
Danish Crown, which has 20 production units in Denmark, posted a net profit of 1.2bn Danish crowns (US$173.2m) for the fiscal year to 30 September 2002, down from 1.3bn crowns a year earlier.
