Danish retail group Dansk Supermarked has posted a profit of DKr1.2bn (US$173.2m) for the 2001/02 fiscal year, up 39% on the previous year.


The group, which owns discount supermarket chains Netto, Bilka and Fotex, reported a turnover of DKr41bn for the year, up 8% year-on-year, reported the Danish News Digest.
