In the face of fierce sector competition, potato chips producer Kim’s has been able to maintain its Danish turnover during its last financial year, according to managing director Jeorn Tolstrup Rohde.

Owned by the Norwegian-Finnish group Chips Scandinavian Company, Kim’s posted a 1% increase in turnover rate to €47.8m for 2000.

Kim’s, which currently controls 44% of the snack and chips market in Denmark, is fighting for sales with Procter & Gamble’s Bag Pringles product.
