Ingredients giant Danisco has secured an extension to its deal to license two probiotic strains from dairy group Fonterra.
Denmark-based Danisco said today (16 April) that it would produce and market Howaru Bifido and Rhamnosus for a further five years, with the new terms extending from five to 10 years.
The agreement expands the territories and applications covered by Danisco, with the group now able to serve dairy, beverage, meat, cereals and confectionery customers.
