The Danish parliament is to consider approving a new wage system for workers in animal slaughterhouses later this autumn.
The new system under consideration enables employees to choose from a variety of financial opportunities, including a pay increase, better pension provision, or an extra week’s paid holiday.
The Danish paper Politiken reported today [Monday] that animal slaughterers make up the biggest working group in Denmark.
