Denmark’s largest poultry producer Rose Poultry will today (23 January) reduce poultry production in response to the fall in demand due to fears of bird flu.
The company’s three plants will each close for a period over the next three months, the Dow Jones newswire reported. This will reduce production by an estimated 2.5m chickens, the company said.
Rose Poultry was unavailable for comment when just-food contacted it.
